• Recognizes that the objectives of the Environmental, Health and Safety Management System are as important as those of productivity and profitability and that the responsibility for achieving them is the entire organizational structure.
• It considers minimum mandatory requirement to comply with the laws in force and other documents signed by the Company with regards to its own dangers.
• It undertakes to effectively implement every action aimed at preventing pollution and reducing health and safety risks and preventing accidents in all workplaces where activities are carried out under its control.
• It undertakes to continuously improve products, processes, services and activities / behaviors, reducing, as far as possible, the impact on the environment / health and safety at work and preventing accidents / emergency situations.
• It undertakes to rationalize, as far as possible, the consumption of energy and natural resources.
• It adopts medium and long-term programs necessary for the protection of the environment and the reduction / control of health and safety risks, which will be continuously updated in relation to technological development, new discoveries and matured experience.
• It undertakes to continuously improve products, processes, services and activities / behaviors, reducing, as far as possible, the impact on the environment / health and safety at work and preventing accidents / emergency situations.
• Ensures that the Environment / Health and Safety at Work Management Policy and System is continuously monitored and reviewed in every part in order to pursue set goals and objectives.
• Develops, maintains and controls a document system including emergency procedures.
• Promotes the growth of professionalism / skills and sensitivity to the environment, health and safety at work of its staff and the third parties with whom it works, through information and education / training.
• Informs suppliers and contractors of this environmental / health and occupational safety policy, promoting close collaboration in order to achieve the best results in terms of environmental performance.
• Maintains and promotes constructive relationships of communication with the Local Communities and with the Authorities of the various sectors related to the environment / health and safety at work.
